Psalm 22:9-10
Yet you are he who took me from the womb; you made me trust you at my mother’s breasts. On you was I cast from my birth, and from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

Our Midwife
With a background in emergency healthcare, Hilary Goodner never envisioned she would become a midwife. That all changed when she felt God calling her to pursue midwifery with a long term goal of taking medical teams to Mexico on missions trips. Previously working as a doula since her training in 2014, Hilary’s connections at a Birth Center opened the doors for her to become a Birth Assistant and Student Midwife in 2020. With her midwifery training completed in 2022, Hilary is excited to offer in-home, holistic midwifery care to the Greater Tulsa area and create an intimate approach to midwifery.
As the mother of three children, Hilary spends her time homeschooling, volunteering her time as the Missions Director at One Church in Glenpool, and singing on their praise and worship team. Hilary has a heart to serve others in an excellent way. Because of her background in health care, including as a Master in Herbology and Homeopathy, Hilary seeks to truly individualize care. From the ways we nourish our bodies, to the natural resources available to us for supporting our health, to having a working knowledge of pharmacological options when needed, Hilary has a full-spectrum of knowledge to provide evidence-based support and care for every woman.
Our Birth Assistant
Having been introduced into the world of natural childbirth by a close friend while taking the Bradley Method Childbirth classes that friend offered, Christa Collins went on to have the unmedicated birth she had always wanted. In 2014, Christa was trained as a doula and continued working in the Tulsa area. In 2022, she began working with a homebirth midwife as a doula and continued to become a Certified Birth Assistant. Christa also serves as the Office Administrator for Way Maker Midwifery.
As a homeschooling mom to her six children, Christa enjoys spending time on the praise and worship team at Word of Life Church and teaching the Children’s Church on Sundays. As a hospital-to-homebirth mama, Christa learned the value of evidence-based knowledge and informed decision making. Combining her heart to serve others, her desire to find a natural solution to her health needs first, and her passion for sharing information, Christa enjoys her role as a birth worker and looks forward to continuing on her journey.
